Johnny Maalouf’s rise to one of the most sought-after hair stylists in Michigan has been a labor of love, hard work and passion. His fiercely loyal clientele appreciates his innovative approach to hairstyling combined with the respect he has for his clients.

Johnny considers hair an extension of one’s personal beauty and takes great pride in his attention to detail and commitment to impeccable customer care. He truly believes that you shine brighter from the inside if you feel better about how you look on the outside.

A veteran of 15 years in the hair industry, Johnny honed his craft working with top industry educators such as Tony & Guy, Bumble & Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, and John Sahag. This intense training helped him to develop into one of the country’s most skilled hairstylists. A very gratifying part of his career is the classes that he now teaches to up & coming hair stylists, as he enjoys imparting his advice into the next generation.

Johnny is thrilled to be a part of Maalouf Beauty, as one of his lifetime goals has been achieved.

Stephanie

Finding herself in a new atmosphere with eleven years in the industry under her belt, Stephanie has found that wherever she goes her talent lies in her hands. Years spent on perfecting a haircut that best suits her client is evidence that the magic is not in the scissors.

From New York to Chicago, from Bumble and Bumble to Redken, passion and patience has opened the doors for this talented artist. Stephanie’s attention to detail has lead her to have one of the biggest male followings in the greater Detroit area.

Fashion shows, Photo Shoots, Commercials & Charity Events have all played a strong creative roll in allowing Stephanie to consistently find inspiration to give to her clients.

Stephanie’s work has been seen in Ambassador Magazine amongst other publications.

Jewells
Hairstylist

A former New Yorker this gifted talent is truly a hidden gem, it’s no wonder her parents named her Jewells. Her awareness of client’s intricacies  has allowed her to develop her own style. Creating contemporary femininity and glamour with an edgy, bohemian sensibility sets her apart from the rest.

Having been in the presence of major shoots with Victoria Beckham and editorials for Italian Vogue, Vanity Fair & Citizen K magazine (to name a few) will allow her to give the women of Birmingham something new and exciting.

Amanda’s love for fashion and the entertainment industry keeps her inspired and excited to be on the fore-front of developements in pop culture.

Attending TIGI cutting classes, her excellent color skills and extensive Kerastase training have culminated in her becoming an amazing stylist in the Detroit area.

Having been in the business for five years now she has worked for ESPN, fashion shows and charity events.

Jackie Hill’s impeccable technical ability and creative vision have made her one of the most in-demand new hairstylist at Maalouf Salon. Through her work at the salon and her exceptional relationships with her clientele she has created a new energy that allows her to stand out amongst the rest. Education in cutting, styling and color has lead Jackie to always be on the cutting edge of whats in the now.

A master at approaching a modern hairstyle that can be duplicated at home is why she has an addicted following.

Julia
Hairstylist

Julia’s poise and commitment to a client’s needs place her in a category all of her own. Always knowing when an exciting change is necessary regarding color or cut is Julia’s intuitive style. Her technique and skill is par excellence . Her careful attention to detail and her client’s needs, allow her to give the creativity and experience each patron deserves.

Vidal Sasson, Toni & Guy and Bumble & Bumble have played a key role in Julia’s education. Working backstage on shows such as Escada, Badgley Michka and Ralph Lauren gives her inspiration to consistently stay on the cutting edge of fashion.

Toni
Hairstylist

Toni has been with Maalouf Salon Since the beginning. She recently traveled the country for almost a year with The Oribe Hair Care Team.

Toni spent a lot of her time teaching classes to hair stylists all across the midwest. Her time with The Oribe Education Department heightened her passion and skill set as a stylist.

Throughout the years Toni has developed an extremely loyal following and prides herself on teaching her clients how to style their own hair, while working with their natural texture.

Kurt
Hairstylist

Kurt lost little time enrolling himself in a cosmetology school at a young age and began working at Maalouf Salon shortly thereafter. At Maalouf, he continues to excel at developing a personal style in cutting, coloring and product knowledge. Kurt is known for taking traditional images and giving them a modern twist.

After just two years of assisting at Maalouf Salon, Kurt became a senior hairstylist and has steadily become a firm favorite amongst his increasing client base.

Kevin
Hairstylist

Kevin truly loves being a hairstylist. You can tell by his passion for making people look their best.  He began his career at Maalouf as an assistant and through his specialized training he has become a skilled hair stylist.   Kevin prides himself on being a perfectionist.  His attention to detail is what makes him special.

Kevin is a certified Keratin specialist. His blow drys can smooth out even the most unruly coiff.

Kevin has an extensive retail background and loves fashion.  He keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the fashion scene. You can be sure to be pleased with the experience you have with Kevin as well as the result.
